8 months ago i got a fasting blood sugar test of 88. now noticing frequent urination. should i have my blood sugar tested. can blood sugar levels get to diabetes that quickly?

Diabetes can emerge quickly in childhood and present with frequent urination. At your age that would be near the bottom of the list if causes I would expect. Discuss this with your doc. A simple office urine dipstick can often exclude diabetes mellites and likely point to another urinary issue as the cause.
