Look closely at the armpit. If bruise is present there the soreness can be due to the accumulated blood which travels to the armpit after the biopsy. If there is no bruise, you may have a mild infection with reactive lymphadenitis and you may be able to feel those glands. The infection is likely self limited but if you develop high fever or chill you should go to the urgent care for antibiotic.
