I had a stereotactic breast biopsy on monday. all went well minimal bruising/bleeding pain. today my armpit is sore, could this be due to the healing? i wont be able to reach my dr again until the weekday?

Look closely at the armpit. If bruise is present there the soreness can be due to the accumulated blood which travels to the armpit after the biopsy. If there is no bruise, you may have a mild infection with reactive lymphadenitis and you may be able to feel those glands. The infection is likely self limited but if you develop high fever or chill you should go to the urgent care for antibiotic.
