Hi could you explain my mri results. my back has been in pain for months causing some mild leg issues. small disc protrusion. mild sternosis. 6.6 cm ovarian cyst. small disc bulge. no high grade. could this be causing my issues?

Yes, the radiculopathic symptoms are not always correlating with the spine findings on MRI.

I seriously doubt that the described issues are the responsible pain generators, and would recommend seeing a physiatrist for further evaluation. Possible sacroiliac dysfunction or hip joint issues could be considered. Have found physical therapy to be of great value, especially with McKenzie Back Exercises, and/ or swimming.
