Weight loss could cause cessation of periods. If you have not lost weight recently and you miss two periods, it would be prudent to see your doctor. For healthy diet: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/., exercise 30 minutes/day, drink enough water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs. Wish you good health!

There are several possible causes in addition to pregnancy: stress, weight loss, weight gain, some illnesses, changes in other hormones (thyroid), excessive exercise and/or change in exercise level. Please speak to your doctor if this continues especially if none of those issues apply to you.
