With the "Delta variant", and the still current pandemic, COVID-19 infection can produce long term respiratory complaints. Get tested for COVID-19 and obtain a referral to an internal medicine physician for an exam and other potential testing as well.

Your coughing may induce a transient spasm of your vocal cords. Do you notice any wheeze? At this time it doesn't appear to be a serious issue. If it becomes problematic consult a pulmonologist for evaluation.
