Most bronchitis isn't contagious at all. If caused by influenza or a common cold virus, contagiousness lasts about a week from onset of symptoms, then no longer contagious even if coughing etc continues longer. Decongestants -- either nasal spray or pills -- can help with ear pressure associated with upper respiratory infections, but often nothing is effective until it clears naturally.

Most bronchitic infections are caused by viruses and a portion by bacteria. The droplets and sputum may be contagious for weeks, and even before symptoms appear. Testing for COVID-19 is recommended. Nasal saline may be helpful, after discussion with your physician. Watch for worsening and respiratory difficulty. A virtual consult with Health tap is available.
