My friend has a pain like a muscle strain in his stomach. it doesn't goes away. it's in the upper right side. he has bloating too. antidepressants help with the bloating but the pain still there. he can't stretch his arms back without pain?

You should rule out Gall bladder disease as the pain is in right upper quadrant and he has bloating. He /she should see a gastroenterologist for further evaluation. An ultrasound of upper abdomen can help rule out GB disease.
