A member asked:

In the morning i noticed a lump had suddenly appeared on my forearm that was sore to the touch and later during the day it turned into a bruise. i have no memory of injuring myself there, should i be worried?

Not particularly. The areas of the body most exposed to random trauma include the outer surface of forearms, shins, and forehead. Simple minor trauma may crack a blood vessel and produce such findings. If it were to show up on lesser exposed areas like the back or trunk it would be unusual/suspicious.
