For the past almost 2 months, ive felt like my throat and nose doesnt feel normal, almost like im coming down with a cold at times but all but one time i havent come down with a cold. what could be causing this? not sure if i have allergies?

You may be right, but sometimes it is difficult to be certain because having allergies increase the chances of subsequently developing infections. Do you have pets or rugs that may increase in house dust? Is there family history of allergies? If both questions are yes, you most likely have allergies that actually increase your chances of catching colds.
