I have been told i probably have walking pneumonia but a doctor over telehealth. before i take any antibiotics, i just wanted to see if you agreed. cough (wet and productive-5weeks), a lot of phlegm production, and fatigue. no fever?

Subacute bronchitis +/- pneumonia is strongly suspected without exam and chest X-ray, Yes, you can take the prescribed antibiotic(s).

Usually the sputum is thick and discolored. Discuss COVID-19 testing and monitor temperature, drink fluids and rest. Your cough and sputum production for more than one.month should be evaluated, and an imaging study is recommended.
