I lost my fingernail 3 weeks ago, when can i swim again? and how long should i keep wrapping it and applying disinfectant ointment? my fingernail bed now has rough skin on top and it's not so sensitive anymore. there's been no oozing, redness, etc.?

These questions are best answered by your doctor after seeing your finger. What type of water are you swimming in (pool? Ocean? etc.)? If your doctor sees that there is a layer of skin covering the area, this may be enough to stop the ointment and wrapping. You may need to cover it for swimming. Your doctor can tell by examining it what the next steps would be! Good luck to you!
