I've had nasal drainage smells like ammonia for 2 mnths. several rounds of antibiotics and steroids, no effect. she has run blood, urine, flu, strep, and covid tests. all normal. she has now turned me away with no more "avenues" to explore. now what?

An imaging study of your sinuses,allergy testing and a culture of the drainages are recommended, after discussing with your physician. A trial of nasal steroids may also be considered.

Make sure there is nothing in your nose. She might do a swab for culture. It may be worth while trying an antibiotic ointment such as mupirocin. Infection of your adenoids if still present might produce a strange odour.
