If you were holding your daughter while a CT was done, you are exposed to radiation, but the amount and potential for consequences to you are minimal to none for this exposure. This is occasionally a necessity to reduce anxiety on the part of young children, given that prior radiation exposure to a parent is not a factor.

Yes, you were exposed to low doses of x-rays even if you were provided a "lead" apron during the CT.
