Many adolescents sleep late at night and late into the morning, but we do not believe it makes them shorter. Your height is largely determined by the heights of your parents.

At 16 you need 8 hrs of sleep every night and it's better to not to go to bed very late but if you get enough un interrupted deep sleep it won't affect your hight.
