A member asked:

What would cause pain on top of left foot, ankle, calf and tigh when standing up for long time, no swelling, no injury, no redness. i'm obese?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

A little bit more information would have been helpful. But this sounds as though you are getting pressure in your lower back pinching a nerve causing the symptoms on the front of your leg and ankle and foot. Your family doctor can order physical therapy If this does not help he can refer you to a specialist. When standing long periods of time a biomechanical imbalance can present itself
