Is it uncommon to get an infection post acl repair and is it difficult to control such an infection? surgery done in bangkok.

Under proper: Precautions it is rare to get an infection, unfortunately orthopedic infections can be difficult to treat and any graft may have to be removed

The signs of infection to look for after a surgery are redness at the site, pus from the wound, pain that is noticeably worse than before or systemic signs like feeling awful/fevers. The Thai medical system is very good, but if in doubt- get the wound checked by an MD. These infections are treatable but good if you can identify early in the course... An ID doctor can help.
