It sounds like you have a fever, and the forehead scanning thermometers are often not accurate. To know whether you have a fever, please use a digital oral thermometer (if you’ve never used one, please follow the instructions). You should also see a doctor to have your throat and illness evaluated. You could have strep or a virus (COVID or another); it’s important to know to get proper treatment.
