Difference between a calcification and a cyst on the tunica albuginea of my testicle? ive gone to a few urologists about a lump. one said the lump was a calcification, and two other said it was a cyst. should i be worried either way?

Calcification is deposition of calcium and cyst is a cavity with fluid in it. They can be differentiated by ultra sound. . Lump is different than either. So get the correct diagnosis and have a Urologist explain the findings and treatment options to you

Calcifications or cyst on the tunica albuginea are benign as tumors and cancer arise within the testicle not the shell that surrounds it. Most urologist monitor these and if unchanged over a year one can be fairly sure these are truly on the tunica and thus benign.
