Please see an orthopedist or a sports medicine specialist, preferably a shoulder specialist. They can advise you after proper examination. Physical therapy may be able to help and help to avoid surgery, but they will be best to advise you.

Usually physical therapy can be used to strengthen muscles and stabilize the joint.
