Little data. Could be minutes if Pheo "goes off", Some pheos store up norepinephrine & adrenaline & when they discharge they squirt this into blood stream & I have seen BP go up to 300 mmHg. most pheos are diagnosed at autopsy & were not cause of death. Need to know more about her pheo and general health. Find best hosp n CAN (Montreal). Best in US Mayo/Houston/Cleveland. Can consult me here.

If confined to the adrenals 5 year survival is common. If there is spread outside the adrenals, 50-60% 5year survival has been quoted. Remember, at age 80 life expectancy may depend also on concurrent unrelated medical problems and the severity of hypertension.
