I recommend obtaining a consultation with an abdominal surgeon to determine the best management strategy if there are symptoms or it's a large diverticulum. Otherwise a gastroenterologist should also determine whether a gastroscopy is indicated. Small, umcomplicated diverticulae of the stomach may need no treatment but I would ask the gastroenterologist what follow-up, if any, is advisable.
