Bleeding and inflammation of the mole is common if you are picking it. Although a mold can become cancerous at anytime but if a dermatologist saw it 8 months ago and there was no suspicion of malignancy I think you are fine. If the mole does not come back to its original shape after 2 weeks you can visit your dermatologist again.

Do not pick at the mole. You may watch and wait. If the mole doubles in size, becomes irregular in size, shape or color, bleeds, ulcerates or develops a nodule, see a doctor. Wish you good health!
