Seizures should be ruled out and a work up is recommended. Monitor temperature, discuss a COVID 19 screening test and vaccination. If he has has COVID-19, neurologic complications may occur.

Not clear if the person with these symptoms is the 16 year old writing or if it is someone else; Either way, a visit with the PCP and Neurology Consult should be considered sooner than later. In addition to the Seizure disorder and Covid -19 infection considerations, exposure to neurotoxins should be considered also.
