How come a flat mole scabs up when you scratch at it?

Just like normal skin would scab up if you scratch it. Do not scratch moles. You may watch a mole and wait. If the mole doubles in size, becomes irregular in size, shape or color, bleeds, ulcerates or develops a nodule, see a doctor. Wish you good health!
