A member asked:

I got rectal bleeding from trying a k2 mk7 supplement. i thought it would be good for d3/calcium transport. what do you think caused the bleeding? it hasn't been an issue since i returned the supplement?

This fat soluble supplement contains a few forms of vitamin K. I can't imagine it would cause gi bleeding in any form. Bright red blood rectal bleeding emanates low in the colon, rectum&anal region. Bleeding higher up in the stomach or duodenum causes black stools, from small intestine or higher in the colon, maroon stools. Your MD can advise you whether to be checked or just observe for more blood
