State medical boards require an existing patient relationship, a recent exam with vital signs & a retrievable record before prescribing meds. Failure to do so can result in loss or restriction of license. ADD meds are often controlled substances under tighter scrutiny by the feds. This site answer health questions. You should contact the Dr who actually wrote your prescription. if he or she has treated you previously and wrote you rx for your ADD then they would be who you need to contact. they may not require an office visit for an rx renewal if they have recently seen, treated or prescribed for you.
