I have sinusitis, and was given a 3 day antibiotic. my last day was yesterday, and i still feel the symptoms. had a ct scan because of on going headaches for weeks, diagnosed with sinusitis. do i need more antibiotics? or wait another week?

The only 3 day antibiotic pack I see used stays in your system for a week or more after you stop taking it. I think it is a bit much to expect an infection worth treating to be gone in 4 days. If you are a little better give ti some time & follow up with your doc.

Hello, since you were CT scan diagnosed with sinusitis and was feeling better on antibiotics, it would be appropriate for another prescription. I am assuming the sinus symptoms are present for some time. Saline nasal irrigation, decongestants, and generic Flonase can also be used. See an ENT specialist for further treatment. I hope this helps.
