Why does my neck sound crunchy when i move it back and forth? i kind of have a small headache but its been crackling for like a few weeks now. is this serious?

Neck sounds like that are usually not a serious problem but are simply motions of neck structures rubbing together with certain motions. Also they are thought to be caused by formation and collapse of gas within joints.
