A member asked:

I get constant headaches and nothing shows up on mri's, i heard metformin can cause headaches, ive been on that and taking 4 pills a day, my new bottle says to take 1 a day, does that mean my headaches might disappear? im prediabetic , why i take the?

I recommend consulting a neurologist to classify the nature of your headache& get treatment advice. Muscle contraction tension type headache is most likely in your case, but you might also ask your prescribing MD to reduce the dose of metformin if he/she thinks it's feasible.
