I am having intense sharp pain in my lower right abdomen. it is worse when i am in a sitting position. excruciating with a bowel movement. i have had a full hysterectomy. if i pull my knees up to my chest or lay down, the pain's less. no fever/nausea?

You need to be examined by a doctor ASAP. Do you still have your appendix? If yes, go to the nearest ER since you may have appendicitis. If you don’t have an appendix, see a doctor ASAP for evaluation and treatment. Best of luck to you!

I agree with Dr.F's advice. Possibilities include appendicitis, if yours wasn't removed. during the hysterectomy, adhesive bands, or a small incisional hernia especially given the positional pattern and severity of symptoms
