Covid-19 infection stimulates human immune system, not weakening it. Unfortunately, when our immune system is stimulated, numerous steps can occur and some of them may damage our body especially our lungs.

COVID-19 infection will NOT "weaken the immune system", and quite the reverse, may cause a vigorous immune reaction termed a Cytokine response, which can be deadly if not mitigated by immune suppression.
