Ear drainage : The color may mean more depending on how long it has been present. The ear drainage should be looked at by a doctor.

Possibilities...: The cough productive of yellow sputum may indicate the presence of infection in your airways, called acute bronchitis. If the infection is caused by a virus, it will complete its course but, if due to bacterial infection, antibiotics may be needed. This is a common infection and it is easily treated so see your doctor so you can be diagnosed and treated.
