To be considered a valid and complete test, one considers 8 factors: One's age, heart rate achieved, time until treadmill was slowed, blood pressure response, ST depression in all leads (except AVR), slope of the ST segments, symptoms during the test, and heart rhythm during the entire test. Tables give the predicted max heart rate response, and tell if it was a maximal stress test.
