Is it common to keep getting ganglion cysts? i've had 2 or 3 in the past year. the first was on my wrist & removed. the others are on the opposite hand. one is on the base of the thumb joint and painful the ? one on wrist?

Small round hard like bone lump at base of wrist (palm side) thumb side. Doesnt hurt, could it be ganglion cyst? It is hard like a bone though
