Unprotected receptive msm exposure 1.5 years ago. tested negative for hiv, hbsag, hcv, vdrl 6 months after exposure. doctor didn't recommend testing for chlamydia and gonorrhoea, because no symptoms. am i safe ? i have no issues currently?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It is good that you got tested and the results were negative. It is reasonable to follow your doctor's advice. Should you wish to engage in msm, talk to your doctor about pre-exposure prophylaxis. Visit this site for info: https://www.cdc.gov/hiv/risk/prep/index.html Even doing this will not prevent other STDs Get HPV vaccine.
