Positive HCV test sometimes can take as long as 6 months. However, HCV is sexually transmitted ONLY among men having potentially traumatic anal sexual practices with other men. It is rarely if ever transmitted by vaginal sex or oral sex, so testing likely wasn't needed. All the other test results are conclusive.
