Rabies transmission is unlikely in above circumstances, check cdc.gov for rabies transmission. Superficial infections remain possible and you should avoid walking barefoot until your feet heal well.

Rabies transmission is from a bite that opens a wound to the skin. It can be from any feral animal you come in contact with. The saliva contains the virus which can be deadly if not treated. Dogs, bats, foxes, raccoons and skunks. There has not been a case of rabies transmission from a cat in 49 years according to the CDC.
