A member asked:

After donating plasma for many years, they told me i have atypical antibodies in my blood. i am not a pregnant female or have been exposed to alien viruses. i went and had my doctor test my blood, twice just to be sure. both are negative for anything?

“Atypical antibodies” is a frightening term but medically is not very helpful. A lot depends on what other conditions (if any) you have. Fundamentally it means that if your plasma is given to another person, it may cause a reaction in that person. If really concerned, need to see a Hematologist (blood doctor) to have it evaluated
