Not so clearcut, and indeed may be the usual exaggeration found in the media. It is highly likely that having the COVID-19 infection results in at least 8-10 months of relative immunity. The Moderna most likely close to a year. There is no solid science in spite of what has been announced to truly justify a booster shot at 6 or even 12 months. If you do go back to work, wear one N-95 mask ONLY

It is rare for a vaccinated person to get a serious illness from infection with Covid-19. At this time the third dose is recommended 8 months after the second dose. Wearing a face will provide additional protection. Wish you good health!
