My mother is 92 and very incontinent, what prescription would help her with this? she is up all night and always wet.. advice appreciated?

Your Mother could benefit from wearing Depends at night, but the underlying process should be assessed preferably by a urogynecologist. Need to have a good handle on the mechanism of her incontinence, as treatment can vary. Best of luck with this challenging situation.

It is important to try and find a reason for the incontinence, and that’s going to require her doctor to determine the cause for incontinence (there may be a couple). Many drugs that work for incontinence may have increased side effects in elderly patients such as confusion, constipation, dry mouth, and others, so knowing the patient’s full health history is necessary to recommend a medication.
