More going on?: Sounds like mom is going through a lot of changes which may be scary for you. If she is incontinent maybe she also has become forgetful (dementia) or has other neurologic or medical problems. Ignoring needles sounds like a sign of a more general problem. I dont want to guess but hydrocephalus is a treatable cause of dementia and incontinence. What does the doctor say?
