Possibly: Obviously, we are talking about completely different medications. The oxycodone is a potent pain medication but is different then the Ibuprofen which is an NSAID. Not knowing your mother in law's medical conditions, Ibuprofen may be contraindicated particularly if she has heart, stomach, or kidney issues for example. You or your mother in law needs to speak to her physician
