A healthy diet, avoiding caffeine and excessive sugar, before bedtime may help. Have a quiet routine, including bedtime stories and a Luke warm bath.

Some thoughts: increase aerobic exercise - running, playing outdoors, sports during the day. A diet rich in fiber, complex carbohydrates and moderate in protein may help, along with starting a bedtime routine which might include warm milk, a bath, a story from a book, and turning off screens an hour before the projected bedtime.
