The sensitive skin between the anus and vulva is irritated by you liquid stool. If you have had diarrhea, use Imodium to slow it down, wash your perineal area with mild soap after each bowel movement, dry it then apply lidocaine (5%) ointment or cream (OTC). Some medications can make your stool loose so you need to check with your doctor if you are taking medications.
