Both tizanidine and tolperisone are centrally acting muscle spasm medications. They would only work if your spasms were of central origin. Since you still have spasms after 3 months, it appears that neither medication is the right one for you and an alternative medication should be considered. Additionally, tolperisone is a weak medication and offers little as an add-on to tizanidine.
