Depends: Muscle spasms can be difficult to treat if the underlying cause cannot be determined and/or eliminated. Further, muscle spasticity after injury is also very individual and some individuals may suffer much longer than others despite adequate rest, anti-inflammatories and muscle relaxant medications.

Generally speaking is it possible that a muscle relaxant like baclofen could be helpful at a lower dose but then at a higher dose actually have the opposote effect by weakening muscles instead of just helping with pain and spasticity?
