My tongue is white, hairy. more than two weeks ago. is it dangerous?

Possible causes of white hairy tongue are poor oral hygiene, chronic or extensive use of antibiotics, the use of medications, radiation treatment to the head & neck area, excessive coffee or tea drinking, or use of tobacco. Generally good oral hygiene with a toothbrush &/or tongue scraper will resolve this problem. If it persists please see your dentist. I wish you well with your health!

Could be hairy tongue ( long taste buds) Could be yeast infection if it rubs off.
