No, one could have been O, A or B, while the other had to be O. The transmission of alleles is in a codominant pattern. There are many web sites available to practice in order to understand.

Neither of your parents could have been AB type. Otherwise they could be any type, A, B, or O. They could also be Rh positive or negative.
