I am not sure why you stated lymphoma is myeloma or it's a typo; those 2 diseases are different. Most effective treatment for myelofibrosis is bone marrow transplant if you are eligible. You are currently treated with Hydrea which we call symptom-directed therapy.

Good morning doctors. Are there stages of renal kidney multiple myeloma and renal kidney amloydisis for treatment methods, or is it a disease that you die from readily in a short time after acquiring?
The doctor prescribed melpalan, velcade (bortezomib) and dexamethasone for 78 yrs old male with multiple myeloma. He later increase the dose of melphalan from 10 mg to 14 mg despite the treatment progress. Is this warranted considering high AST and alt?
