A member asked:

Subchorionic hematoma size of 3.1x1.6x1.3 cm was discovered at my 8 week ultrasound. is this considered large & what are the chances of it growing, so far no bleeding or cramps?

Hematoma size is more than 25% of the average gestational sac volume at 8 weeks so this hematoma is considered high risk of miscarriage. So far you have been safe without bleeding, please limit you activity and follow closely with your OB doctor.
